Nardio Game News
EarthNight is a painting brought to life and a love letter to classic arcade games. Dragons have taken over the Earth, and humanity has fled to space. You must help Stanley and Sydney skydive back to Earth while careening across the backs of massive, snake-like dragons as they soar high above the planet, all while an original chiptune soundtrack pounds away in the background.
Ever come across an indie game that was supposed to come out years ago and well, just never did?
EarthNight is one of those games. Years and years ago I discovered EarthKnight at a horrible little game dev event called Indiecade East (Never go there) and I loved the artstyle a lot. The gameplay seemed interesting and unfortunately, unrefined. It was a style over substance and control was a big issue. EarthKnight was, very, very unintuitive. Anywho, it was still super cool looking and I saw it on and off again at a few more indie game events.
Fast forward to a few months ago and to my delight the game is still in development and now slated to release on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch! Heck, it’s even out now on the Apple Arcade. Well, I was and am still really rooting for the developers behind this game. Will it’s gameplay match it’s style?
I’m hoping for the best.
EarthNight is on Apple Arcade And coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4 & Steam Dec 3rd.
