Nardio Game News
A little while ago one of my fave indie game developers, Snoutup announced that he was working on a new game and needed alpha testers. An hour and a half later Jasmine and I were addicted to a clever single player card combat game.
Card Hog has you moving your, card hog around a set of cards. Some are weapons you can use to kill baddies, others are said baddies and then come traps, and powerups and healths. It’s just a good bit of fun.
Check out the official Steam description below:
ABOUT THIS GAME
Card Hog is a card dungeon crawler with lite deck building and roguelite elements.
Currently the game is fully available for free as a demo. Card Hog is being actively developed and more content will be available to demo owners via frequent updates. Don’t forget to leave your feedback in community forums and help to make the game better!
- Addictive card-based dungeon crawling
- Story and endless modes
- Dozens of enemies and bosses
- Multiple characters with different card sets and perks
- Many interesting card combinations
- Humorous shenanigans
More content coming soon in form of mechanics, cards, characters and game modes!
Look, there is no reason to not get this game. Sure it says demo, but it’s fun enough to be considered a finished game in my opinion. The bonus that more content and balance will be added over time is a huge plus. Add to that, an affordable indie game when it’s all done is worth it in my book.
JUST GET THIS!
