A new gigantic set of minis to want to paint!
A new hard to get limited edition hobby set for me to not be able to afford or have…
I still don’t have cursed city………
I still haven’t even finished playing through the entire campaign of Darktide the Miniatures game……………
OK, well, I started this post excited…. Now, I am just kinda sad….
In all seriousness, this is a super fun announcement. The Warhammer Quest games are legendary in the mini gaming world. The original Warhammer Quest games seemed like a heck of a lot of fun. Blackstone Fortress was a massive game that was beloved by fans and Cursed City, was well, kinda cursed. But the fans that did get it seemed to be able to wring a heck of a lot of hobby time out of it.
Personally, I am still lusting after Cursed City. I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly want to give it a try and take on the mini painting project of that game system. Hopefully one day they make a book with all of the White Dwarf supplements for it as well.
How do you feel about the nwq Warhammer Quest: Darkwater announcement?
I bet a lot of people are disappointed that it isn’t 40K. As an enjoyer of the Age of Sigmar universe, I am happy to see this announcement. Also, it looks like we are going multi faction with the baddies! Warhammer Quest Cursed city kept it all to the undead. It was fine and the minis were gorgeous, but having Beastmen & Nurgle as baddies here gives me hope of a gigantic range of enemies that will make this upcoming painting project seem that much more awesome.
Bonus points if we get some Khorn and Hellsmiths of Hachut.
