Today we get one step closer to the time we are ruled by robot overlords. Check out the new 2024 Atlas model from Boston Dynamics.

It was a brief clip but damn that’s interesting. The way it got up and how easily and fluidly it moves is pretty crazy. Soon enough I expect these things to be running around our cities doing stuff. Before the rebellion that is.

But in all seriousness, Boston Dynamics is amazing. I follow the YouTube channel and am always shocked by the progress. I can already imagine real world uses for this little guy. As much as people freak out over robots and AI, I am honestly hopeful they become useful and we get to have them help humanity move forward.
