Spoon-billed sandpiperToday’s cute of the day are these adorable spoon-billed sandpiper chicks. Wait, what do you mean you’ve never heard of these birds? Well, I guess that’s not too uncommon. These adorably fuzzy little guys are pretty far along the endangered list unfortunately. Their natural habitat is in Russia and Southeast Asia, so even though they may look delicate, they’re pretty tough. I have to say, the spoon bill makes all the difference. Without that, they’d look like just a normal bird. These little chicks are pretty recently hatched, but they’re doing pretty good getting around and picking off the ants for food. I mean, there are still some moments of clumsiness as you can see at 0:43.
