Nardio Review

Go kill these guys.

Go kill these guys.

Is it worth your time?

YES

(Developer Interview !)

What should I play it on?

League of Evil is available on the iPad, iPod touch and the iPhone iOS 3.0 and later. You get the same great experience with all devices. As always I prefer gaming on my iPad 2.

What did you think without spoiling it?

Going for the Kill

League of Evil is an instant classic for me.  The art, the depth, the music, the spot on controls, everything is great.  Very few games ever get close to this much perfection that don’t have the word Mario in the title.  I have to say I am a very happy gamer while writing this app review.  League of Evil has been recommended to me nonstop by a lot of my gamer friends and I have been asked about it since its initial release.  Oddly I have owned this app for ages, but just got around to it.  I’m glad I did.I honestly can’t think of anything wrong with this game. Just don’t give it to anyone who hates hard games.  It’s really tough, but it straddles the line between tough and cheap, perfectly.  There is so much replay here I am honestly surprised.

I wholeheartedly recommend buying League of Evil.

How does it play?

The control for League of Evil is perfect. The controls are stationary but perfectly placed for me.  The controls never were a problem. I was totally able to just focus on the game. Another great thing about League of Evil is, the game can be played in landscape or portrait orientation on the iPad.  That really

helps whenever you just feel like using a different grip after a long time gaming but you aren’t ready to put the game down yet.

The game is full of replay.  If you’re a completist then you have your work cut out for you here  Speed runs, Star speed runs, and getting all the briefcases will be keeping you very, very busy.

Why it works:

Everything is done right.

No like?

Those spinning hammer platforms…..

But seriously, I hate them.  With a passion.  They are a huge part of what makes this game hard.  They can be frustrating and at times make the game more about luck than skill.  Knowing that don’t get this app if you hate hard games.  This is classic, unforgiving gameplay.  If you can’t handle that then avoid this.  If you want a challenge and a fun game with oodles of replay value this is it.

In Closing:

If you’re up for the challenge League of Evil has to offer, you will be rewarded with one of the best 2-D platformers on any console.
