Well it’s 2013, time to ring in the new year and take a look back at some of Nardio’s favorite cute of the days. Be forewarned, there’s enough cute here to kill. Don’t worry, we’ll have some other top 2012 lists up too, but we figure, why not start with the best? And, let’s be honest, this is what people really care about. Surrender to the cuteness!
Number 10 – Otter and Kitten are Friends
Seriously, too cute for words. The otter looks like a stuffed doll that I used to have, but cuter. The kitten has these gorgeous blue eyes and tolerates the otter’s antics. What makes it even cuter is that the otter is so freakin’ small! The kitten is only about 4 months old, so it can’t possibly be that big, but it looks huge next to the baby otter.
Number 9 – Cute Robot Making Coffee
I LOVE this video, personally. The robot is so tiny, she can barely hold a tiny cup of coffee for her flesh-y master. It’s just a lot of fun to watch her meticulously grind the coffee beans and pour hot water over the final product. If you wait until the end, you get to see a funny blooper too. It’s true what they say, no one is perfect, not even robots.
Number 8 – Baby Red Pandas
I know what you’re thinking. Why aren’t the red pandas in first place? Well, if you haven’t been looking through our archives you’d know that while these guys are adorably cute, we have cuter things ahead. I do love these little guys though, especially when they’re young. They’re so full of energy. Look at them running around and play-fighting. If only they could figure out a way to have them more active as adults. Alas, their diet doesn’t allow it.
Number 7 – Jumping Goats
Not only are these baby goats adorable, they’re also hilarious. Well ok, just the one goat jumping around on top of all the others. Everything about them is cute from they’re little bleats to their hops. If only I had the space for these little guys, I’d totally have one.
Number 6 – Baby Hedgehog Yawning
What is it about these little guys that’s so cute? Is it their spiky fur or their button noses? I’ll never know. What I do know is that they are super cute. I’ve been a fan of hedgehogs since an ex-boyfriend’s friend had an albino one. Since then, it’s been love. I love the fact that their little bellies seem as though they have super soft fur.
Number 5 – Little Girl Doing Ballet
This was the video that sparked our Cute of the Day segment, and by god is it cute. As adults, it doesn’t make sense why the girl doesn’t get how to put her feet back in first position, but I watch this and nod knowingly. Yes, I might never have done ballet, but I totally understand being confused as to why my feet didn’t listen to me. If I ever have kids, this will be her.
Number 4 – Patient Cat
You may think that cats aren’t patient, but look at this one! He allows the little puppy to jump all over him and even nibble on his ear. I mean, maybe it’s kind of like a massage for the cat. But who could get angry at that puppy. Seriously. It’s like a stuffed toy come to life.
Number 3 – Adorably Fuzzy Kitten
It’s always hard to pick the top three, and honestly it breaks my heart to put this guy in number three position. He’s so darn fluffy. And those eyes. He’s like an anime cat come to life. I haven’t seen any updates about this kitten, which maybe is a good thing. This little kitten is forever immortalized as THE cutest kitten in the world.
Number 2 – Baby Cheetah Chirping
Have you ever heard a baby cheetah chirp? They sound like little birds! What I wouldn’t give to have picked up this little guy. Look at those ridiculously long eyelashes. Look at that fuzzy, inquisitive and innocent face. It’s hard to believe that he’ll grow up to be a stone-cold killer. At that age, you just want to hug him and listen to him chirp all day long. Just make sure you’ve got a good grip on the leash!
Number 1 – Baby Snow Leopards
Ok, so sue me the top three are all part of the cat family. What can I say, they’re freakin’ adorable! I mean, look at those faces and those ridiculously long, fat tails and try to hate them. This is, perhaps, my favorite video on here. They are just so darn huggable. Words just cannot express how much I enjoy watching this video. I must have watched it at least 100 times. That’s not an exaggeration. My favorite part? When they’re pulled out of the basket during their introduction.
