Shōgun – Official Trailer

I’m not one to get excited for things anymore. Most media nowadays is rushed, phoned in and seemingly meant to either preach at you or dumb you down. So when I came across this trailer earlier today I was surprised…. a bit.

The trailer looks magnificent. The actors look great and the setting looks epic.

Then the trailer goes about spoiling the story a LOT so I closed it out. That said, I’m left with a really great impression. Granted, I am not about to sign up for FX or whatever this is. I think it’s one of those channels where they force ads on ya like the bad ole days. That said, I will follow this show and look forward to renting or buying the season when it’s done.

Let’s hope they don’t fuck it up.
