Today’s cute video of the day is a ferret that plays dead. Now I’ve seen dogs and even cats pull this trick, but ferrets? While ferrets are certainly intelligent creatures, they have super short attention spans and must be cajoled with treats to listen to any instruction. According to the owner, the ferret wasn’t really trainable until around 12-14 months of age, before that, “Puppy” the ferret didn’t pay attention. It’s not really hard to believe as young ferrets are pretty excitable. Ferrets aren’t for everyone as they are very needy of attention, full of energy and extremely curious. Still, they’re pretty darn cute!
