I’ve had cats before who loved playing fetch with me. I’d roll up a ball of aluminum and they’d chase it around and eventually bring it back to me so I could throw it again. I have never, however, had a cat stand up on command. This lovely 5 month old (yes still a kitten) Siberian kitten plays fetch and stands. According to the owner, he taught the cat by holding out a treat so the cat stood and then would say stand up. The cat eventually realized it would get a treat if it stood on command. Then he started saying it without the treat in view and Neiko, the kitten, started standing on his own. Siberians are known for their dog-like behavior and could also be great for homes with people who have cat allergies as these cats produce a lower amount of Fel d 1, the protein in their saliva that causes allergic reactions.
