What should I play it on?

Stunt Guy: The Getaway plays perfectly on the iPad, iPod touch and the iPhone iOS 4.0 and later. You get the same great experience with all devices. As always I prefer gaming on my iPad.

 

What did you think without spoiling it?

Stunt Guy is another great example of a great simple, fun, addictive and affordable game.  For .99 cents you get a fun endless driving game that is really fun to play and replay.  Sadly the screen shots don’t do this game justice.

 

How does it play?

The controls are perfect, the car animations are retro cool and the reaction is spot on. The graphics are simple, but they work.  The Stunt Man’s flailing movement on the top of the car is a very nice touch.

Why it works

It’s classic endless driving gameplay that is that it’s simple enough for anyone to pick up and play. In Stunt Guy You are the Stunt Guy and your mission is drive fast, collect power ups tokens that will put you in a Carnage mode, smash a lot of cars and you will get lots of points and your car will be fixed up a bit.  You play this because it’s fun and you keep replaying it to beat your own and your friends scores.

Another fun thing this game does is keep track of what body parts your Stunt Guy has broken.  There are a lot to break so keep driving and crashing if you want to break them all.  Also be sure to check out the About Stunt Guy page!
